Home Grown Malaysia – Malaysia’s Contribution to Advancing Big Data

Big Data Week 2014 is happening in Kuala Lumpur! As the only Southeast Asian city participating, we have lined up a plethora of partner events, starting with a networking party hosted by VLT, to a BD conference featuring speakers from Amazon, IBM, Teradata and Revolution Analytics.

Data&StorageASEAN and MDEC with support from MAD incubator are running an event to showcase Malaysia’s contribution to advancing Big Data.

Join us to discover Malaysian companies developing technology today that will enhance Big Data tomorrow.

Big Data is about much more than analytic. Capturing data in real time, Storing Data, Protecting that data, cleaning data are all key areas that need to be advanced in order to further Big Data initiatives.

Malaysia itself has very specific challenges when it comes to Big Data. The geography, the climate, and the culture all lead to unique challenges when it comes to capturing, collating, storage, protecting and analyzing Data.

We have gathered 7 of Malaysia’s home-grown technology companies that are developing key technologies that enable big data to advance in Malaysia and beyond.

Learn about these technologies & companies and the opportunities for you to work with them as we transform to a knowledge driven economy driven by technologies that facilitate Big Data.
